"Happy Back to school week". I don't know about you but even though my kids are all grown I still love when school gets back in because life is just more " normal" if that is even a thing anymore. I can't believe our first gbaby is headed off to school today. I told her I wasn't going to let her grow up but she assured me she would still give me loves and snuggles😥. SLOW DOWN TIME! Have a blessed and safe week. Parents enjoy every minute of it it goes by sooooo fast.

People ask all the time if Jim is ready to retire. This is how I picture retirement. I'm about ready to stuff and sock down his throat. I'm bone tired and he is snoring. In a loving manner of course.

This was a joy to do. I've known Savannah since she was a little girl. When we raised Aussies, Savannah and her momma bought a pup from one our litters. She was so cute playing with that pup. We knew it was a perfect match. In later years Savannah rode my transfer bus, then roll ahead a few more years Steven became a good customer and I got to deliver flowers to Savannah several times while they were dating. I hope you all have a blessed marriage.

Some have asked how our vacation was? Well our vacation usually look different than other families. This vacation was more of a mission trip. Our kids Lindey and Bob have leaped off in a new adventure and as always we are right there with them. If not physically in spirit of prayer. Bob has taken a pastors position in a church in Como Tx. It's a cool church with a very nice and friendly congregation that we have quickly come to love and enjoy. They have allowed Bob and Lindey to move into " The parsonage" but it needed some renovation before the kids could move in. So that's were we came in. Nana and Lindey had baby duties and Bob, Jim and the Bob's Dad Jim and Mom Leslie all pitched in and started building a couple bedrooms in an adjoining garage. We were exhausted when we arrived because May had been a whirlwind of a month here at Accents Floral & Gifts and J/L Ranch and with all the storms. Jim and I both had worked lots of hours. But we went we worked and we came home tired but a better type of tired. We got to love on our gbabies and help our kids and that always seems to make us feel better and lighten our stress load. So thank you to all who asked about our " Vacation" I didn't want to go into details before so I could share the after story. Thank you Austin Speak and Ashley Speak and their kids for holding down the fort here at home. We couldn't to it without you all.
