Sometimes as a caterer, in an effort to not run out of food for your special event, there is a little extra left at the end of an event. A few pounds of green beans, a tray of mashed potatoes, a half case of tomatoes…. As long as it meets certain safety and sanitation standards, it is still usable and donatable.
River Willow is happy to donate that product to a variety of places, one being 740 Kitchen! Not only are they keeping food waste down, but they are turning that food product into delicious meals for families throughout SE Ohio.
Give them a share and a little support this holiday season!

(Current count: 734 amazing supporters)
This Thanksgiving week, we’re launching a simple but powerful challenge:
👉 Share our page. Invite your friends. Help us grow our mission.
For those who are new here —
The 740 Rescue Kitchen rescues surplus food and transforms it into thousands of nutritious meals every week, serving 9 counties across Southeast Ohio.
We partner with local schools, nonprofits, the Joe Burrow Foundation, Hocking College, farmers, stores, and community members to make sure good food never goes to waste — and that families across the region have one less worry on their plate.
But to keep doing this work — and to reach even more people who need us — we need visibility.
Every follower means:
💛 More eyes on our needs
💛 More volunteers
💛 More donations
💛 More rescued food
💛 More meals for families in our communities
So here’s your challenge this week:
✨ Invite 5 friends to follow our page
✨ Comment DONE when you’ve shared!
Let’s see just how quickly our 740 family can grow.
Let’s watch those follower numbers skyrocket.
Let’s keep feeding Southeast Ohio — together. 💛
Thank you for helping us make a difference, one share at a time.
