It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood and we've got some beautiful news about some beautiful music by some beautiful people coming up at the historic Silver Dome Ballroom on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th - ThE ReTuRn Of ThE CaCTuS BLoSSoMS !! Joining them are MOLLY BRANDT and her excellent band, and ABIGAIL MATHIS, who will kick off the festivities from our Cooler Stage! Doors at 5, music at 6:30, $25. Hello Friends. It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood, going to be doing some Spring cleaning this weekend in preparation for next weekend's BLUES PARTY, hoping to see you there. Getting super excited to see the ALTERED FIVE BLUES BAND's debut at the Dome, so many great songs and videos from which to choose but this one seems pretty Wisco-centric, Great Minds Drink Alike. Hello Friends! Happy Spring and what a beautiful day in the neighborhood! And some good news too - we're finally ready to announce our first event of the season - this year's annual BLUES PARTY on SATURDAY, MAY 17th, featuring Blind Pig Recording artists, THE ALTERED FIVE BLUES BAND, along with Mississippi Blues legends, DUWAYNE BURNSIDE & KENNY BROWN, plus a Minnesota favorite, MIKE MUNSON, from our Cooler Stage. A tremendous lineup, even if we do say so ourselves! Doors at 5, music at 6:30-ish, only $20 at the door (no advance tickets)! They'll be serving great food at the neighboring Speakeasy and we're considering food options at the Dome as well and, as always, you can camp for free in the surrounding lot. Special thanks to Richard Doss, Life Wings Peak Performance and the North-South Central Congregation for their sponsorship of this event! Hello Friends! Been a while, and we're a little late with this notice, but we wanted to plug this year's BLUES CAFE, presented by our friends at the Great Northern Blues Society. Starts tonight and runs through tomorrow in Wausau and, as always, they've got a great lineup for a very modest price, always a great entertainment value. And look for notice soon of our own Blues Party on May 17th with tomorrow's Blues Cafe headliner, the ALTERED FIVE BLUES BAND, along with the KENNY BROWN and DUWAYNE BURNSIDE trio and MIKE MUNSON. Advance ticket sales are closed but there will be tickets available at the door and we should have room for everyone. So come on out and have a ball in the country, listening to some Country, at an actual historic ballroom (Nat'l Register of Historic Places)! Hello Friends. It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood and we're excited as can be about tomorrow's Chris Kroeze show with KAT PERKINS and MADLEE! Today's the last day to get tickets in advance (till 5 pm), we'll let you know tomorrow morning if they'll be available at the door but it looks like we'll have room for everyone, even at the door on Saturday. Doors at 5, Madlee around 6, Kat and Chris to follow. Great food will be available from the Smokehouse BBQ food truck and at the neighboring Speakeasy II.
