I have noticed over the years that whenever there is illness or death, I seem to use photography as an outlet to cope or make sense of the world. There is a beauty in moments of anguish where you cherish the smallest memory of time past. It helps you remember grace and gratefulness in times like these. It reminds you that your time is finite, and to capture what goodness there is while you can.
