Did you know? Rubies and sapphires are the exact same mineral — corundum!

Here's the twist: when corundum comes out red, we call it a ruby. Every other color — blue, pink, yellow, even green — gets the name sapphire. Same mineral, totally different gem, just depending on the trace elements mixed in. 🔴🔵
