Not many reception venues in Nashville rival the grandeur of the Laura Turner Concert Hall at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. With its striking chandeliers, tiered balconies, raised stage, and grand entrance stairway that sets the scene for an unforgettable arrival, this venue is an event designer’s dream.
For Candace & Varun’s reception, we took full advantage of the spacious layout, arranging an “X” floor plan for family tables at the heart of the ballroom. The showpiece: a magnificent three-arm arc chandelier adorned with cascading greenery and florals as the central wow factor.
Surrounding the couples monogrammed dance floor, round tables featured cherry blossom centerpieces, while outer rows of long tables glowed with abundant candlelight, casting a luxurious shimmer. Each table was dressed with premium linens and fine bone china and diamond-cut glassware creating exquisite tablescapes.
The couple’s sweetheart sofa sat alongside the stage, framed with elegantly flowing drapery and crystal chandeliers for an enchanting ambiance. Swooping drapes around the stage and stairs highlighted the incredible height of this breathtaking space.
