What can we say that hasn’t already been said about Dolly Parton? Her fingerprints (from her perfectly acrylic-ed fingers) are all over our home here in Nashville. We undoubtedly benefitted from being Tennessee residents and human beings at the same time as Dolly.

Our kids read books from her Imagination Library. We have stories from seeing her at the Grand Ole Opry and seeing her at the grocery store. We put her music on our playlists, we drive past her house on our commutes, and we take our families to ride her rollercoasters at Dollywood Parks & Resorts.

Some of us grew up watching her movies. A few of us even used our employee ticket stipend to see her new Broadway DOLLY: A True Original Musical when it previewed in town.

We see so many G7 values reflected in Dolly Parton, particularly our shared commitment to Passion, Integrity and Courage. She proved that being wildly successful doesn’t have to come at anyone’s expense, especially not your true self.

Her legacy is undeniable. Our thoughts are with her family, close friends and fans around the world that are mourning this tremendous loss.

In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donations be made to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a cause we’re honored to support. G7 Entertainment Marketing donated this morning; we’re proud to make our small contribution to her enormous impact.

Some members of the team volunteered at Nashville Humane Association this week! Getting out of the office and giving back is something we try to make time for throughout the year, and we were happy to spend the day supporting the incredible work Nashville Humane does.

Thanks to the Nashville Humane team for all they do and for letting us spend an afternoon with their furry friends!
