When the planner gets married! 💁🏽‍♀️ After 3️⃣ years, Sarah Patton Adair is finally sharing wedding details on the blog. 🙌🏽😅

As we tell all of our clients, throw the rule book out the window + make the day your own. Sarah lived by her own advice.

- Sarah let the entire bridal party pick their own songs to walk down the aisle. 👀 Needless to say, it was quite the collection from oldies ➡️ rap, and it set the mood for the party! 😂
- Rico + Char were on the dance floor before food was even served.😆Everyone was waving their napkins in the air.
- We had a celebration with 38 guests. At the time, it was just an intimate family ceremony. I didn’t know it was going to be my *ONLY* wedding.
- My only regret is not making the Harley cat cocktail menu! 🐱😩
- Three years later, we still have a few people holding a grudge because they weren’t invited? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Here’s your reminder you can’t (and don’t have to) please everyone! ✌🏽

If I was a new planner, this is the number one thing I’d recommend for running the ceremony rehearsal.

➡️ Purchase mini chalkboards for everyone attending the rehearsal.

1. Be the first person onsite. I usually arrive 15-30 minutes early. 💁🏽‍♀️
2. Write the wedding party names the night before. Double check your spelling. ✏️
3. Place the names on the ground in order 👇🏽
4. Direct everyone to find their name. Practice the recessional and then enter back in with processional instructions.

Don’t stress! You can make simple tweaks, that’s what rehearsal is for!
