Growing in USSR, you don’t get a lot of American music, you actually have to go above and beyond to get any. But somehow her name was heard. So when I first was able to buy me a compilation LP with Dolly as one of the artists, her name was the only I’ve heard of and that was a “yes”. Just one song, Coat of Many Colors, I couldn’t understand a word, but she sounded like heaven. Through the years, I’ve got way more records, seen movies, interviews, and never I was disappointed or doubted her heaven bound personality. Rest in peace, Dolly, fly high!
