Dear Amazing Music Fans & Friends,

In the highly corporate world of Live Nation, Ticket Master, and Spotify gatekeep the music you hear about, while ripping off bands and fans at every turn, we wanted to offer some alternatives.

There are a few amazing companies who are helping bands stay in touch with fans and take a fair cut for the service they provide. Please consider signing up for these.

We are moving toward communicating to fans directly through email and these services, and less um this site, since you have to pay to be seen/heard. We aren't interested in helping the rich getting richer.

I'm imagining due to the nature of this post, this will be not seen by many folks, and that is part of the problem!!

Additionally its more expensive than ever to travel so any support is greatly appreciated

Bandcamp is the best and most fan/band friendly music streaming and purchasing site. They take a fair percentage of music that they sell. All of our records are streaming for free on Bandcamp. You might not recognize a few of these bands and that’s the exciting part.

Xd Up Hands is an old straight edge punk project created Jon (Retribution) and Jon (Small Steps, Treason) being revamped. It’ll include members from a few other local bands too.

Takeaway and Dysform are two new Louisville hardcore bands with heavy old school influence. They’re both made up of some of the coolest people I know, Maria (who did the flyer), included!

Common Threat is a newer band too, coming all the way from Cleveland. I found them while browsing around online and honestly…everyone needs to go listen to them.
