I can’t think of a better year than 2023! I scaled back the amount of weddings I took because I wanted to be the best mom that I could. Gah, at one point I took about 19 events per year….whewww! Anyway, I’m so grateful to all of the couples and families that let us help plan their big day! We started of year off with Katie and Jesse and ended it with our amazing grooms Matthew and Dnxl! We had the most beautiful and fun wedding at Cheekwood for April and Josh, then who can forget Sam and Landon’s beautiful wedding pictured here?! Guyssss…my heart is overflowing with gratitude for everything 2023 brought. Thank you also to my clients for being patient with me as I was learning to balance being a new mom and running a business! Does anyone ever perfect this? It has been a true whirlwind, literally almost every single day, but I couldn’t be happier and for that….I am grateful! I hope you all have had a wonderful 2023 & hope that 2024 brings you so much joy!

Late Friday night/early Saturday morning, my dog of almost 15 years passed alway. He was the sweetest little rescue I have ever known. I’m completely devastated. Thank you for all of the memories we had together. Rest easy Hudson. I love you always 🐾

Being your mom for *almost* 3 months has been incredible. I’m so beyond blessed and I have no clue what I did to deserve you. I am not perfect and I know that I have a lot to learn. I get to witness all the moms at our events and see their bond, and I can’t wait to have that with my sweet little one! It has been a completely different thing juggling a child and a business but I am grateful to be here and to be learning daily. I would just like to say our bodies are incredible. Whoa, I can’t believe what I have been through during this journey! I also have the most amazing husband and partner. I don’t typically share my personal business on social media; BUT I have been growing a child and stepping into my next phase in life; and it has been absolutely incredible! I really thought motherhood passed me by. When you meet the right person, you just know! Anyway, this is my sweet little Ellaye (yes like L.A.) Elizabeth Hughey. Everyone welcome her to the world and pray for my husband 🤣 I went from never wanting children to wanting ALL of them 😂.
