The wedding dress in motion is my favorite way to capture it ⬇️

The way the wind blows it, as if pulling you towards your future together. The way it flows as you walk with your closest friends to cocktail hour. The amount of detail/fabric in the design, so much that it takes two to tame it’s beauty.

To me, these are the photos that hold more meaning than simply hanging it on the wall.

What better time to introduce (or reintroduce for some) myself than a few days after turning 25 🎉 My name is Christian, and I've been doing videography/photography since 2015. After filming/photographing many genres over the years, I decided to film my first wedding in October of 2018. It was very fulfilling to know my work would become more and more valuable over time and as I left that wedding, I knew weddings were what I wanted to focus on moving forward.

When I'm not filming weddings, my hobbies primarily include reading, watching the latest comedy shows/movies with my pup, rock climbing, working out, longboarding, traveling with family, or grabbing a bite with friends.

How We Started!

Christian McGee started a video editing job at a local skydiving business his Junior year of Highschool in 2015. After a few months doing that, he wanted to get BEHIND the camera instead of the computer. Now, he didn’t start jumping out of airplanes! Instead, he started taking videos of things he enjoyed doing. This included hiking, road trips, travels, snowboarding, etc. While he enjoyed capturing all of this, it didn’t really bring money and it wasn’t exactly fulfilling. He got a message from his school stating someone was looking for a cheap wedding videographer for their wedding day. He quickly contacted them and explained both his experience and lack of, the client took a look at his other work (concerts, product, and travel videos) and said he liked the work and trusted he could do the job. Christian showed up to the wedding with his girlfriend who was assisting him with shoots at the time and began getting video of the venue and decorations. By the end of the day he had plenty of video to sort through the next day. He was quick to get started on the Highlight film and provided a quick turn around. The clients loved it! He had never felt so happy and fulfilled with his work. After all, this couple had a film highlighting the biggest day of their lives! Not only would they get to enjoy it, but their whole family would as well! Imagine showing your kid and even grandchildren that big day in both of your lives! After doing a few weddings, he brought on a buddy he shot a music video with. By doing this, he was able o focus more on creativity and production as well as add more value for his clients. Now he and a friend, as well as a few other trusted videographers, film weddings under the name Wild Fern Weddings!
