USTA Tennessee is incredibly proud to congratulate our President-Elect, Terrance J. Quattlebaum
on his induction into the West Virginia State University National “W” Club Sports Hall of Fame!

Terrance was a standout two-sport athlete at WVSU, earning four varsity letters in both football and track & field, two All-Conference selections in each sport, and a spot on the WVSU All-Decade Team. His athletic career continued professionally, including helping lead the Memphis Xplorers to an ArenaCup Championship in 2005 and earning Championship Game MVP honors.

These days, we’re fortunate to have that same passion, leadership and competitive spirit working on behalf of tennis across Tennessee.

🎾 Congratulations to Tennessee legend, Phil Chamberlain, on his induction into the Memphis Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026!

Phil’s impact on tennis in Memphis and across Tennessee spans more than five decades as a player, coach, tournament director, mentor and leader in our sport.

From competing for the University of Memphis and winning numerous USTA titles, to coaching generations of junior and collegiate players and spending more than 30 years helping lead the Memphis Open, Phil’s influence on Tennessee tennis is hard to beat.

We are so proud to see him receive this well-deserved recognition from the Memphis Sports Council.
