Where the marsh meets the sea, Grace + Riley said forever. 🤍

Some love stories deserve a setting worthy of them, and the Lawn at Dolphin Head delivered with Spanish moss overhead and salt air all around. Every detail whispered Lowcountry: a letterpress suite adorned with herons and a rather charming alligator, powder blue silk on her closest friends, and a cake that painted the marsh in buttercream.

Inside The Country Club of Hilton Head, amaranthus draped from chandeliers like the moss outside, a live painter captured the day in real time, and dusty blue linens carried the coastal palette through candlelight and into the last dance.

Behind it all, our lead planner Mallory coordinated every moment with the kind of precision that lets a couple simply be present, joyful, and utterly in love.

That sparkler lit farewell?

Proof that when the details are handled, the celebration takes flight.

Julia & William’s wedding at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort unfolded in a palette drawn straight off the Atlantic — French blue hydrangea, garden roses, and trailing greenery set against sun-washed palms and an oceanfront ceremony deck.

A veil caught mid-air. A soft blue tablescape layered with printed linen and smoked glass chargers. Custom bar signage and a “Cheers to The Shaws” moment that made the reception feel entirely their own. Every element was designed to feel effortless — and behind that effortlessness was flawless coordination by our lead planner Abby, who guided the day seamlessly through each moment.

The reception opened into warmth and saturation. Marigolds in deep orange and gold garlands wove through a suspended installation of greenery and disco balls hovering above a checkered dance floor. Centerpieces grew wild and towering, glass vessels overflowing with cherry blossom branches, delphinium, viburnum, and fuchsia, each one built like its own landscape. Patterned linens in fan motifs grounded the tables while pleated lamps and hundreds of candles carried the glow. Every layer held intention, down to the crest adorned es**rt cards, the hand illustrated bar signage, and a vintage heart shaped cake crowned in maraschino cherries.

A celebration that honored the garden by day and threw it a party by night.

Amanda and Adam said I do with the Atlantic as their witness, and every detail of this Hilton Head Island wedding was pure coastal perfection. Abby, Wedding Planner at Sutlan + Co., brought this vision to life with seamless coordination that let the couple soak in every single moment.

The design leaned into the Lowcountry in the most elevated way. Think white orchids and garden roses spilling out of seagrass baskets, palm fronds woven through candlelit centerpieces, and cane and rattan accents at every turn. Custom palmetto koozies, embroidered cocktail napkins, and a photo guestbook gave guests something to smile about at every station, while signature sips like the Fabrizio Spritz and Mulligan Mojito kept the celebration flowing.

An oceanfront ceremony, a sun-drenched cocktail hour, and a reception glowing with floating candles. This is what happens when timeless design meets a planning team that thinks of everything.

A garden wedding that felt like a page out of a Southern heirloom. For Victoria and Brian’s celebration at Georgia Southern Botanical Gardens, every detail was designed to feel collected rather than curated. French blue hydrangeas spilled out of scalloped wicker baskets, chinoiserie ginger jars anchored the tablescapes, and monogrammed linens, engraved silver goblets, and a champagne tower brought generations of tradition into one golden evening. Sage toile, bamboo flatware, and hand painted crests carried the palette through every corner of the garden, right down to the koozies.

Behind every seamless moment was intentional coordination by our lead planner Morgan, who guided the day so this couple could simply be present in it. That is the heart of what we do at Sutlan + Co.

Sofie and Seth’s May wedding at the Raleigh Rose Garden was a day built on nostalgia: heirloom porcelain swans crowning a vintage-style piped cake, custom newspaper programs printed as The Wedding Times, and a macaron tower that doubled as dessert and decor.

The palette leaned soft and sun-washed. Bridesmaids in mismatched yellows carried bouquets of ranunculus, garden roses, and delphinium in pink, peach, and periwinkle, echoing the roses blooming just beyond the ceremony aisle. Every detail carried intention, down to the memorial page honoring loved ones who couldn’t be there.

Behind the ease of it all was our coordinator Sydney, managing every timeline and transition so this couple could stay fully present, whether running across the lawn hand in hand or smashing cake under the tent. That’s the Sutlan + Co. standard: a celebration that feels effortless because someone made sure it was.

Savannah and Mac’s wedding day was a love letter to the city that shares her name, and our lead planner Morgan brought every layer of it to life.

The design leaned into timeless Savannah romance with a fresh, collected feel. French blue delphinium tucked into ivory hydrangea and garden roses. Scalloped lace linens layered over crisp white. Gold-rimmed chargers, hand-cut calla lily place cards, and vintage Savannah postcards standing in as table accents, a nod to the city outside every window.

The personal touches carried the day. Something blue heels on the windowsill. A piped buttercream cake crowned with an heirloom topper. Signature cocktails, custom koozies, and a second look lace mini made for the dance floor.

And the coordination behind it all? Seamless. Three locations, a live band, a sparkler-lined sendoff, and a vintage Rolls-Royce waiting at the curb, every moment timed to perfection.

Lauren and Justin said their vows at Sacred Heart Catholic Church before celebrating under the oaks at Savannah Golf Club, and every detail of this day was designed to feel like them. A green and white palette carried through hand-illustrated toile stationery, cascading parrot tulips, and a vintage-piped cake styled with heirloom silver. A margarita tower on the lawn, custom matchbooks featuring their golden retriever, and glowing lamp-lit tables kept the evening personal, playful, and impossibly elegant.

But what stays with us is the way these two looked at each other all night. Through the first dance, the toasts, the quiet moments no one else caught, their love was the thread that held every detail together. Design can set a scene, but it takes a love like this to fill it.

With seamless coordination and thoughtful design by our lead planner Morgan, the entire day unfolded exactly as it was meant to, so Lauren and Justin could simply be present for every second of it.
