Our Story

Brette and Christina met working together at a restaurant. By the end of the day it was like they had known each other for years. Their similar views of the world and quick-witted humor made them instantly click. They both went home and told their fiances how they knew they had just met a friend that would last a lifetime.

It wasn’t until several months later they realized their families not only knew each other, but were close before they were even born. Brette’s grandfather’s quartet, The Blackwood Brothers, even appeared on one of the first episodes of Christina’s mom and aunt’s show, Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters.

After planning each other’s weddings and friend’s requesting their help with events, they decided it was finally time to start It Takes Two.
