NASHVILLE — Tennessee’s agricultural fairs across the state were recognized for excellence during the Fairs’ Merit Awards at the 104th Tennessee Association of Fairs (TAF) Convention, held Jan. 15 –17 in Murfreesboro.

In 2025, nearly 3 million visitors attended county, regional and state fairs across Tennessee, enjoying more than 205,000 exhibits. More than 20,000 volunteers made those fairs possible, supporting livestock, farm crops, competitions and education displays while contributing significantly to the state’s economic impact.

The Nashville Fair team won 6 awards at our international conference this year for this past September’s fair, the biggest of which was for our new pollinator exhibit. Most people think fairs are just rides and fried food but that’s a carnival. A real fair includes educational exhibits, animals, and agriculture, PLUS music, arts, stage and midway entertainment, contests, and culture if you’re lucky - and we are!
The countless hours poured into writing, designing, building, and laying out The Flight of the Pollinators exhibit not only won us a first in its category (as well as Best of Division!), but also educated fairgoers on the most important pollinators, how they affect food supply, what’s threatening them, and practical steps to help.
It’s an honor to serve our city’s people through design, hard work, and community building - from fun facts to fun rides to funnel cakes! The fair is such a great experience and is always the first Friday after Labor Day. Come see us!

🏁 RACE DAY IN NASHVILLE! 🏁

It’s 1/4-Mile Championship Friday at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, kicking off the huge Curb Records / Borchetta Bourbon All American 400 Weekend!

The stars of the local 1/4-mile divisions will battle for championship glory tonight under the lights with at least six feature races on the card — including Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, Front Runners, Bandoleros, and Legends.

📅 Friday Schedule:
• 🏁 Garage Area Opens: 8:30 AM
• 🔧 Late Model Practice: 12:00 PM
• ⚙️ 1/4-Mile Practice: 4:30 PM
• 🎟️ Grandstands Open: 5:00 PM
• 🚦 Racing Begins: 6:30 PM

🎫 Tickets are available online or at the gate upon arrival! Don’t miss the excitement as the All American 400 weekend roars to life in Music City!

The action continues all weekend with Saturday night’s All American 40 for the CRA Street Stocks, Vore’s Compacts, and JEGS/CRA Pro Lates, and Sunday’s 40th All American 400 featuring the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour Super Late Models.
