Our favorite officiant to work with!
A stress-free wedding day. It’s not impossible.
After officiating weddings for over 10 years, I’ve learned a few tricks to make your day run smoothly and leave you with photos and memories you’ll cherish forever.
Here’s a few of my favorite choices of advice.
1. Start with a detailed timeline that allows plenty of buffer time. People will be late. Traffic is inevitable. That way, you’re only paying for the time you need & you're planning enough time to cover everything you want. Not to mention, it helps you with planning the rest of your day and knowing what to tell all your other vendors!
2. Share responsibilities to ease your day—so you can focus on what matters without constant questions, meal planning, or vendor decisions. Delegate, delegate, delegate your tasks and make sure to eat. You will get hangry!
3.Consider a first look to ease any nerves and share a quiet, meaningful moment together. From my experience, it brings a sense of calm to the day, allows you to create beautiful new memories, and gives you more opportunities to capture special photos together.
4. Keep a wedding day emergency kit handy! Sewing kit, pain meds, (whiskey), stain remover, tissues, lip stick, etc.
5. Trust your vendors! (Thank you advice from Couick Photography ) You are paying them to capture the little moments you might miss. There’s absolutely no way you’re going to see everything happening on your wedding day. That’s why trusting an experienced professional is so important. We’ve trained ourselves to see *just about* everything! Just soak it all in and enjoy your day!
These small things can make a huge difference in how your day feels, and that’s something worth planning for! Less stress to let life happen around you.
