Meatloaf is hungry… and so are 80 tiny kittens who depend on us every single day. Our shelves are almost bare, and we’re down to our last 2 cases of canned food and hunger doesn’t wait.

Cruelty is not my cup of tea👊🏻

While camping for Mother’s Day weekend, I did what I do best. I opened my heart. On our way back to the campsite, we witnessed something heartbreaking , someone dumping what looked like 3–4 week old kittens into the woods. Knowing these babies could not defend themselves in anyway, we immediately turned around to tell him we would help find them homes and that he didn’t have to do that… but by the time we were able to turn around, he was gone.
We searched through the woods and were able to save this little baby. 🥺 I named him/her “Scoop Kittie Kat” (still too early to tell if it’s a boy or girl lol). Since then, this tiny sweetheart has been riding around in my hoodie pocket the entire time.
I’ve gotten Scoop to eat little pieces of chicken, and we’re still working on getting more water in. This baby is SO loving and sweet, and it breaks my heart that I can’t keep it myself. My heart also breaks for the other kitten we weren’t able to save. 💔
