For those that may not know, my name is Ryan and I run Ember and Ash Films. I’m really stoked that you’re here 🤘

I love filming weddings. I’ve spent several years trying to find what my creative outlet could be, and since starting this business 1.5 years ago, I think I have definitely found my niche. It’s been so sick getting to know different couples that have trusted me to be right there in the thick of it during such a cool and special day in their lives. Here’s a few facts about me:

- I’m based in Nashville, TN and live with my wife Becky and our golden retriever, Louie. I need some more pics of them on here - Nashville photogs, I may need a content day with some fam photos and some updated headshots here soon 🤔

- I’m a massive music fan. I have been to over 500 live shows and collect vinyl records, which is starting to really fill up my IKEA shelves, so I might need to chill out a little bit there.

- I just shot my first destination wedding (pictured here) and it was incredible. Hopefully more of those to come, so if you’re thinking about eloping, my DMs are WIDE. OPEN. 😎

If you’ve made it this fear, you’re a real one. Pumped for what’s to come and grateful to have a lot of friends in the industry to learn and grow with. LFG.

Can someone grab me a tissue? 😭😭 There were so many happy tears throughout Riley and Griffin's wedding day, and I was so honored to be there to capture it. This day had it all - plenty of emotion, funny speeches, a vintage car...come on!! What's not to love?

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great Monday. I did a shoot w/ Jared this weekend and I love how the shots came out, so here’s an updated profile picture. 🤘

It’s been a great kickoff to the season - In the past few weeks, I did a branding shoot with a studio here in Nashville, and then shot two weddings with Lexington Wedding Films and JDCP Weddings. I’m always excited for any opportunity to continue to gain experience and get out there, so appreciate those guys for tapping me in.

This weekend I’ll be heading to Jackson, MS to shoot Jordan + Drew’s wedding and I couldn’t be more pumped. It’ll also be nice to spend some time with my family for Easter.

Speaking of travel, MAN I’m stoked for this season: Kentucky, Missouri, several back home in Mississippi and my first ever (!!!!!) destination wedding in Belize 🇧🇿 - like WHAT?? Still blown away at the opportunity. Now let’s get back to filming 🎥

I’m so ready for this new wedding year! I’m working on a totally redesigned website, and wanted to share the trailer for it. This year, I want to hone in on my style and continue working with incredible couples who are like-minded.

I have available dates for the 2022 season, so if you’re interested I would love to chat.

2021 in the books and I just want to thank everyone who is reading this for supporting my first year in the industry. I got the chance to work with some incredible couples who trusted in me to capture their wedding day. Filmmaking and the ability to create something has always been a passion of mine, but I never knew how to properly channel it. I can’t emphasize enough how much fun it’s been to be able to turn that love into a business and work in an environment where everyone is happy and having fun.

If you’re new here, my name is Ryan and I’m the lead man behind Ember and Ash Films. This pic is from my own wedding (vow renewal, thanks COVID!) and you can just sense the joy and relief that my wife and I finally got to pull off our own wedding day how we wanted ⚡️

I cannot wait until the upcoming wedding season and look forward to growing, learning, and seeing where this ride goes. 🤘
