Christmas sugar cookies have held a little piece of my heart for as long as I can remember. As a kid, every December meant gathering in the kitchen with our family friend, Mo—rolling dough, dusting the counters with flour, and decorating cookies that would later be tucked into the cutest tins to share with friends and family.
Those moments felt magical then, and somehow they still do. Now getting to carry on that same tradition with my own family feels like the sweetest full-circle moment. Every batch is filled with tradition, nostalgia, and a whole lot of love—and it will forever be my favorite part of the Christmas season.
