We are heartbroken at the loss of our beloved Cindy. She was the flower shop and, as others have said, their "flower angel". Thank you so very much to everyone that has sent condolences, thoughts, and prayers. Cindy lived to serve her friends and customers and all of the kind words and thoughts we have received means the world to us.

We are open and serving customers for Cindy's funeral. We will be closed on Friday for the service, but will reopen at 9:30 on Saturday morning. Please let us know if we can be of service to you.

Please stay tuned as we will be releasing more information about the future of the shop.

CYNTHIA CINDY MARTIN LIGHT, 67, of Narrows, VA, was called to her Heavenly home while surrounded by many beloved friends and family on Friday, December 13, 2024. Cindy was born on October 1st, 1957 and was the daughter of the late William Earnest Corky Martin and Leona S. Brookman Martin.

*Update on Cindy and temporary closing*

Thank you to everyone that has reached out to check on Cindy these last few weeks. She is still very ill, so she has been moved to a higher level of care hospital and we're hopeful she will get the help she needs and will start turning around. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.

Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily close the shop after December 24. As of now we do not have a planned reopening date, so please continue to watch our page for any new information. I wanted to say a very special thank you to the staff for keeping the shop running for the last month while Cindy has been receiving care. Gail, Buford, Crissy, as well as many friends have all been pitching in to keep things running. I'm extremely grateful to everyone that has been devoting their time and energy.
