Turn up the heat in your landscape with lime sizzler firebush! This perennial shrub with neon yellow and green variegated leaves and orange-red tubular flowers will add explosive color to any sunny area. Blooms occur on and off throughout the year and attract butterflies like Gulf fritillary and Zebra longwings and are loved by hummingbirds as well. Lime Sizzler will grow 3’-5’ tall and equally as wide. Plant yours in an area with well-drained soil that gets at least 6 hours of sun per day, top dress with Nurserymans Sure Gro 6-8-10, and water regularly.

Ponytail palm, Beaucarnea recurvata, is a showstopper that’s equally as stunning as a houseplant or as a specimen in the landscape. They have long leaves that drape over their thick caudex, giving it the ponytail look. Since they are related to agaves, they are drought tolerant and can take full shade to full sun. They can slowly reach 20ft in the landscaping and around 2ft tall indoors. We recommend fertilizing yours with We the Wild Liquid fertilizer in containers, or Sure Gro 8-2-12 if planted in the ground. See website for more details!

Firecracker is a fast-growing tropical shrub 3’-5’ tall with abundant showy red flowers on cascading leafless branches. The branches are wispy and rush-like creating a dramatic waterfall effect that looks especially great in hanging containers, patio planters, or spilling over a wall. The year-round tubular red flowers resemble a firecracker and are loved by hummingbirds and butterflies. Plant your Firecracker plant in part shade to full sun, fertilize with Nurseryman’s Sure Gro 6-8-10, and let dry between watering. See website link in bio for more details!

Foxtail fern are low maintenance and versatile plants that thrive in full sun or part shade. The feathery plume-like foliage resembles the shape of a fox’s tail and will add lush texture and interest to your landscape. Our Story

Family owned & operated for over 30 years!

In 1984 Gary and Rene Hazelett came to Naples, Florida from Fort Wayne, Indiana with three children in tow. Their passions were family, gardening and business. That’s when Gary stumbled upon a garden center on U.S. 41 named The Garden Exchange. He and Rene engrossed themselves in the business and purchased it along with its sister garden center Driftwood Nursery on 6th Avenue North in downtown Naples. The two were then combined into the existing store at 5051 Tamiami Trail North.

With that said, Driftwood Garden Center was born. In 1998 their second location followed. A custom designed garden center located in Estero, a booming area north of the Naples store. Both locations have proven to be a garden lover’s delight.

Driftwood remains a family owned and operated obsession. With their two son’s now managing the business, along with their extended family of over 90 dedicated team members. Our team has been green thumbs for decades and all are fanatical about personal service.
