At B’n Chingon Mexican Restaurant & Catering, our journey began with the passion and dedication of our founder, Ozzy Gomez. Initially, Ozzy never planned to open his own restaurant, but the overwhelming support from his children led him to bring his culinary dreams to life. In May, we opened our doors in Naperville, IL, on East Bailey Road, expanding our catering business into a cozy restaurant.
Our story is one of family and hard work. With over 15 years of experience as a hotel and resort chef, Ozzy started a catering business six years ago, offering fresh tacos and salsas to private parties. The popularity of his unique take on Mexican cuisine prompted his children to urge him to open a brick-and-mortar location. Today, B’n Chingon is a true family affair. Ozzy’s son, Jonathan, brings his culinary expertise from Cooper’s Hawk, while his daughters, Jasmine and Scarlett, and his son Alex contribute their skills and passion to the business.
Our menu elevates traditional Mexican dishes with modern twists. From Carne Asada tacos topped with chimichurri and caramelized chihuahua cheese to Al Pastor tacos with fresh pineapple, we strive to offer a unique dining experience. Our salsa bar, featuring six homemade varieties, adds an extra layer of flavor that keeps our customers coming back.
The name B’n Chingon, shortened from Bien Chingón, reflects our commitment to being unique and at the top of our game. Ozzy’s goal is to wow customers with his innovative take on tacos, blending traditional foundations with creative ingredients. “It’s very important that everything we do here, we do with love and passion,” Ozzy says. “We want people to really enjoy our food and be blown away by what we offer.” This dedication has earned us rave reviews and made B’n Chingon a favorite in Naperville.
