Since graduating from the University of Iowa and obtaining a Masters degree from DePaul University, I have worked with attorneys, insurance adjusters, veterinarians and children. No matter what the career choice, the keys to success have always been organization, people skills and attention to detail. I have always enjoyed organizing the events of my own life: birthday parties, vacations, nights out with my friends. Over the past nine years, my New Year’s Eve party has ranged from an intimate gathering of friends with a Rock and Roll theme to a Las Vegas- themed event showcasing a balloon drop and light show. Each year I strive to top the previous year's event. Most recently, a friend who has consistently been a guest at my parties asked me to plan a corporate outing for his own business with key clients. My goal was to plan an amazing outing within his budget. What I did not expect was how much I enjoyed the process of organizing the event! With this success under my belt, in addition to my personal event achievements, I realized I had something to offer. I wanted to turn this passion into a business. My mission has since expanded to helping individuals and companies plan their important events. Since then, I have coordinated local and destination events. Multi-day corporate excellence programs, group concert outings, and sporting events are my specialty. When I plan events, I utilize the same multi-tasking skills that have made me successful in life- organization, attention to detail and strong communication skills with my client and vendors.
