It’s Thoughtful Thursday, and I have a little challenge for you today. 💛

Before the day is over, give someone a genuine compliment.

It could be the cashier at the grocery store, a coworker, a friend on social media, or a complete stranger you pass while you’re out and about.

Last week, I received a few unexpected compliments from strangers, and I can’t tell you how much they shifted my day. It wasn’t about vanity—it was about feeling seen. Those small moments lifted my energy, put a smile on my face, and reminded me how powerful kindness can be.

As women, we have an incredible opportunity to lift one another up instead of tearing each other down. A few sincere words can boost confidence, brighten someone’s mood, or even change the direction of their day.

So here’s today’s challenge:
✨ Compliment someone.
✨ Be genuine.
✨ Spread a little light.

Then come back here and tell me about it in the comments—or share the compliment you gave. Let’s create a chain reaction of kindness together. 💕

It’s hard to believe in three months I’ll be attending and speaking at this year’s Women’s Worldwide Leadership Retreat Summit 2026 in Tepoztlán, Mexico this September!

Last year, I attended this summit as a participant, and it challenged me, inspired me, and stretched me in ways I never expected. I left with new ideas, meaningful connections, and a renewed passion for helping women grow through leadership, wellness, and authentic community.

To now return as one of the speakers feels like such a full-circle moment.

As a co-owner of B Well Ladies and a Certified Life & Business Coach, I’m humbled to stand alongside an incredible group of women who are making an impact in leadership and retreats. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share lessons from my own journey and years of experience in leadership and personal growth.

If you lead retreats, dream of creating transformational experiences, want to strengthen your leadership skills , or are looking to connect with other purpose-driven women who believe collaboration is more powerful than competition, this summit is for you.

I truly believe events like this can change the trajectory of your business—and your life.

If you’d like more information about attending, comment “INFO” below or send me a message. I’d love to share the details and hopefully see you there!

Here’s to growth, connection, and the courage to keep saying “yes” to the opportunities that stretch us.

Hey ladies, can we have an honest conversation about breaking generational patterns?

Not everything passed down to us deserves to be passed on.

Maybe it’s anxiety.
Maybe it’s anger.
Maybe it’s fear, people-pleasing, perfectionism, scarcity thinking, or believing rest is lazy.

I know this personally.

I come from a long line of worriers. Fear and anxiety felt normal growing up, and for years I let those emotions make decisions for me. I’ve also had to work through my own struggles with anger and worry.

Do those feelings still show up? Absolutely.

But here’s what I’ve learned: awareness gives us a choice.

I can acknowledge my anxiety without letting it control me.
I can recognize fear without allowing it to keep me from living fully.
I can choose healing instead of repeating old patterns.

That’s the work. And it isn’t just for us—it’s for the generations that come after us.

At B Well Ladies, we believe growth begins with honest self-reflection and the courage to ask:
✨ What have I inherited?
✨ What is serving me?
✨ What needs to end with me?

Because the most powerful legacy we can leave isn’t perfection.
It’s healing.

What’s one pattern you’re intentionally working to change in your own life?

Amy here. 🤍

I started painting a little over a year ago when I turned 40, and I never expected it to become one of my favorite things to do.

What began as trying something new has turned into therapy for my soul. It slows me down, quiets the noise in my mind, calms my nervous system, and reminds me that creating doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

One of the greatest gifts of midlife is realizing we’re never too old to begin again.

A new hobby.
A new skill.
A new career path.
A new adventure.
A new version of ourselves.

Growth doesn’t have an expiration date.

So here’s my question for you:
✨ Is there something you’ve started that brings you peace?
✨ Or is there something you’ve been wanting to try but haven’t given yourself permission to begin?

Maybe this is your sign to pick up the paintbrush, lace up the hiking boots, write the book, plant the garden, or finally say yes to the thing that’s been calling your heart.

I’d love to hear what it is in the comments. 💛

What Women Are Really Looking For?

Women tell us they want rest.
But when they arrive, we often discover they're actually looking for:

Connection.
Permission.
Stillness.
Honest conversation.
Safety.
Belonging.

They're looking for a place where they don't have to be everything for everyone.
A place where they can simply be.
And maybe that's what so many of us are craving right now. I know that’s what I crave!

Good morning, B Well Ladies. ☕🌿

This morning’s view a warm cup of coffee. The sound of birds in the trees. Fresh mountain air. A few quiet moments before the world starts asking for our attention.

So often, we believe healing has to happen through big, life-changing moments. But I’ve found that some of the deepest restoration comes in the smallest rituals—the ones that gently remind our nervous systems that we are safe, present, and alive.

As I sit here in Red River Gorge, I’m reminded why nature is such a powerful teacher. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t strive. It simply exists—and invites us to do the same.

Maybe that’s exactly what your soul needs today.

Take five extra minutes. Step outside. Sip your coffee slowly. Listen to the wind. Let yourself simply be.

And tell me… if B Well Ladies hosted a retreat surrounded by views like this, would you join us? 💛

Rest Without Guilt

One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve had to make in my own life is realizing that rest is not laziness.

I grew up in a home where productivity was valued and slowing down often felt like something you had to justify. If I sat down to read a book, take a walk, or simply be still, there was always a little voice whispering, “You should be doing something.”

Maybe you’ve heard that voice too.

The truth is, many women don’t struggle with rest itself—they struggle with the guilt that comes with it.

Guilt for sitting down.
Guilt for saying no.
Guilt for taking time alone.
Guilt for not constantly being productive.

But what if rest isn’t something you have to earn?

What if it’s something your body, mind, and nervous system genuinely need?

One of the most beautiful moments we witness at B Well Ladies retreats is watching women slowly let go of the belief that they have to apologize for taking care of themselves. They discover that quiet isn’t selfish. Boundaries aren’t weakness. Rest isn’t wasted time.

It’s where healing begins.

So today, consider this your permission slip—although the truth is, you never needed one.

What would change in your life if you stopped feeling guilty for resting?

There’s something special about supporting the people who pour their hearts into creating products that are good for both our families and the environment. 💛

Today, after visiting the Simpsonville Farmers Market, I was reminded that wellness doesn’t just happen at retreats—it’s found in the everyday choices we make and the small businesses we choose to support.

This Small Business Saturday, I’m celebrating two local favorites:
🍯 Symphony of the Bees for their incredible local honey and beautifully crafted, toxin-free beeswax candles.
💜 Little Mount Lavender in Simpsonville for their thoughtfully made, clean products that bring a little more peace and wellness into everyday life.

At B Well Ladies, we believe wellness is about creating a life that nourishes your body, calms your nervous system, and supports your overall well-being. Supporting local businesses that share those values is one small but meaningful step in that journey.

If you’re nearby, consider checking them out—you may just discover your new favorite clean product while supporting passionate local makers. 🌿✨

The Real Transformation Wasn't At The Retreat

The most meaningful part of retreat didn't happen during retreat.
It happened afterward.
Weeks later.
One woman told us she's stopped reaching for her phone constantly.
Another said she's become more present with her children.
Another shared that she's taking time to sit outside and notice birds, sunshine, and the breeze.
Another finally started the self-reflection she'd been avoiding for years.
That's the kind of transformation we're interested in.
Not temporary inspiration.
Not a weekend escape.
But real life.
Because what matters isn't how you feel while you're away.
It's who you become when you return home.
