Tray-passed appetizers adorned with seasonal herbs, flowers, and olive branches. I love a beautifully decorated appetizer tray, especially when we can incorporate what’s in season. It’s a simple way to make the beginning of the celebration feel intentionally warm and cared for ❤️

This property was right in the midst of the most recent fires here in California, and I'm so happy to say that the property is still in great condition. The owners haven't been let back in yet to fully assess things, however video and images taken from the property recently are promising. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We couldn't be more grateful for the endless battling the firefighters and first responders are doing and continue to do every day. "The love in the air is thicker than the smoke" rings true today as much as it did when it was created back in 2017. And I truly believe the quote at the beginning of this post rings true about this property - there is so much love here and a miracle happened. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This tablescape design was one of my favorites from last year although I have many favorites😅!! To me this design was romantic, whimsical and nature inspired 🌿 Peep the hand-torn blush watercolor es**rt cards by the very talented too (swipe through for more pretty images!). The welcome! It's such an important part of any event - it really helps set the tone of what's to come and allows your guests to mix, mingle and connect over a shared experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My favorite ingredients for a warm welcome include a seasonally inspired beverage (spiked anyone?), friendly service staff, and ample space to enjoy themselves. This venue has the perfect spot - on a shaded lawn featuring a palm tree, a huge fig tree, and a backdrop of a nearby forest. I could relax there for hours taking in the restorative nature! But you'll likely just see me whizzing by making sure everything is flowing smoothly and that your guests are well taken care! 💚⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Thank you a million to for a fun and creative challenge! ⠀

I'm a part of the program which means I love Minted and all of my clients get a really great discounted rate for their stationary! They recently created a flat lay challenge for their planners - so here we are 🙂 They sent us invites and challenged us to create a flat lay and mood board based on them, with the caveat that we could only utilize objects we had around the house. ⠀
⠀
The theme I created for these invites was a modern classic destination wedding in Rhode Island, with a boho vibe. The venue on the invites is - it looks like such a beautiful spot! The images on the mood board were sourced from aside from the one of the venue which came from their site. I envisioned a warm welcome with tray passed champagne, a pampas grass inspired ceremony surrounded by the sea and sea glass es**rt cards leading guests to their table under a gorgeous sail cloth tent. The cake would be a classic 3 tier cake with a boho twist featuring a teal design and then guests would party the night away next to the ocean and stars - dreamy. ⠀

I had the pampas grass from a previous wedding along with a feather bundle from a great friend of mine that went along with the overall color scheme. I also had a reserved sign created by 💙. The linen samples are from and would be great options as accent tables. I added a string of pearls and teardrop earrings to contribute to the classic nature of the theme... I styled it all on a beautiful I have and I really like the way it turned out! {I have to tell you though I have a newfound appreciation for lighting and photography, 😂 I've never done a flat lay before so getting the light right without shadows was a challenge for me! I also created a design with some of my favorite products that would be beautiful with this theme} @ Napa, California

Planning the right time for this in your timeline is key to ensure you don't lose the gorgeous soft light; but also balancing it with making sure you two get some food to eat and aren't missing anything important. Our most popular dessert bar is a small cake for cutting, assorted miniature desserts and freshly baked cookies - it's always so much fun to see guests ogling the dessert bar and choosing their favorites, as they head out to rock the dance floor - but I also know that some people don't feel like it's a wedding without the traditional wedding cake!
