At this boho chic Estate Yountville wedding, Rose & Co. Hat Bar / Roseanne “Rose” Noyce set up a custom hat bar for cocktail hour, and guests lined up the moment it opened. The setup worked like a fancy Subway sandwich line: guests went down the row choosing a hat shape and color, then added feathers and bands, and finished at the end with custom branding. Everyone was so eager to make their custom hat, and it was fun to watch how creative people got with their own personalized look.

It gave guests something to talk about, which made it a natural icebreaker for people who hadn't met yet. It also turned into a great prop for photos. And because the hats suited the boho design of the wedding so well, the whole thing felt like part of the day instead of an add-on.

Most favors get left behind or tossed the next day. A hat that guests styled themselves is something they'll keep, wear, and remember where they got it.

If you're planning a Napa wedding and want a cocktail hour people talk about long after it ends, a hat bar is one to put on your list.

The wedding moment that had every guest reaching for their phone and hitting record. 🎷

Right before the first dance, the groom picked up a saxophone and played Tupelo Honey for his bride in front of all their guests, joined by four of his friends.

It was so sweet, incredibly personal, and exactly the kind of moment people remember long after the wedding is over.

Two Napa & Sonoma wedding venue rules that catch couples by surprise 👀

🍷 A w**ery can only serve b**r and w**e. No liquor; county permit rules. The good news is that many w**eries have workarounds like fermentation cocktails, and some allow hard seltzers.

🎶 County noise ordinances mean no amplified music outdoors after 10 pm. The venues that work around this usually have an indoor-outdoor space with doors that open up so the party can keep going.

These are the kind of details that don't show up on a venue's Instagram but absolutely affect your wedding day.

If a full bar or dancing past 10:00pm are important to you for your wedding, be sure to ask venues about these two things.

Elaine and Jordan’s Goldendoodle, Murphy, was there for the whole celebration—even making an appearance on the dance floor. And because one Murphy wasn’t enough, they also had a custom fondant version of him on their wedding cake. 🐶

One month ago, 23 people gathered at this Stanly Ranch wedding to celebrate two of their favorite people.

An intimate garden-chic celebration set against the beauty of Napa, with lush floral centerpieces, a garland runner, personalized matches, custom corn hole bean bags, and, of course, incredible food and w**e that Napa is known for.

With just 23 total people, every detail could feel intentional and every moment could be savored. There was time to linger over dinner, raise a glass, and truly be present with the people who mean the most.
