A little bit of directing, a whole lot of coordinating, checking in with our incredible vendor team, and making sure all those months of planning come together exactly as we envisioned.

There are a LOT of moving pieces on a wedding day, but getting to work alongside such talented people and watch our couples’ celebrations come to life is why I love what I do.

Organized? Always. Having fun along the way? Absolutely. 🥂

The leaves are changing, the temperatures are dropping, and we’re officially entering the season where a beautiful wedding needs an equally beautiful backup plan. 🍂🥂

When planning an outdoor wedding in Napa or Sonoma, we’re always thinking a few steps ahead. What happens if the temperature drops after sunset? If rain makes an appearance? If guests need a little extra warmth during dinner?

A thoughtfully designed weather plan considers all of it, from tenting and heaters to guest comfort, vendor logistics, and how the overall design translates if we need to move things indoors.

Because a backup plan shouldn’t feel like a compromise. It should feel just as intentional and beautifully considered as the original vision.

Our goal is for our couples to enjoy every moment of their wedding weekend, knowing that whatever the forecast brings, we’ve already thought through the details.

Sometimes you just have to stop for a moment and take it all in✨

From the colorful ceremony florals to the thoughtfully designed seating display and candlelit reception overlooking the mountains, Stephanie + Connor’s wedding was filled with so many beautiful details.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching months of planning, design meetings, and thoughtful decisions come together into one cohesive experience.

And while we spend so much time making sure every detail is exactly where it needs to be, we also love those little moments when we get to stand back and appreciate what we’ve created alongside our incredible vendor team.

Cocktail hour sets the tone for everything that comes next. 🥂

After the ceremony, it gives guests time to enjoy a cocktail, mingle over a few bites, and settle into the celebration ahead.

For Alicia + Adam, we wanted that transition to feel relaxed but still beautifully considered. A garden setting, soft green details, fresh florals, thoughtful bar menus, and plenty of food and drinks made it a space guests could genuinely enjoy.

That’s why we think of cocktail hour as its own experience, not just a placeholder on the timeline. It’s a chance to slow down, connect, and enjoy being surrounded by your favorite people before the evening unfolds 🤍

A seasonal color palette doesn’t have to mean pumpkins and plaid. 🍂

For Nina + Jacob, we leaned into terracotta, peach, rust, burgundy, and soft cream to create a reception that felt warm, romantic, and layered without being overly themed.

Patterned linens brought texture to the tables, rust napkins and custom paper goods carried the palette into each place setting, and the florals added those deeper, richer tones throughout the space. Natural wood chairs kept everything grounded against the surrounding greenery.

And then there’s that dance floor✨

The warm wood-and-white checkerboard became the anchor of the entire layout, with the tables arranged around it so dinner and dancing felt like one connected experience.

The result was colorful without being loud, seasonal without being literal, and full of thoughtful details that made the entire reception feel unmistakably Nina + Jacob 🤎

A fully managed wedding day should feel effortless to the couple… even if your planning team has barely seen each other since 8 AM. 😂

While one of us is overseeing the ceremony, checking florals, coordinating vendors, and making sure everyone is ready for the walk down the aisle, the other might be across the property checking rentals, place settings, signage, lighting, and all the reception details we’ve spent months designing.

There’s transportation to track, a ceremony to cue, cocktail hour to open, spaces to flip, and a timeline to keep moving seamlessly.

And that’s the luxury of having a full planning team: none of it becomes your job.

You’re not checking on reception setup during portraits. You’re not answering vendor questions while getting dressed. And your mom, sister, or best friend isn’t being handed a clipboard when they should be celebrating with you.

We may be communicating through texts, and the occasional wave from 100 yards away 😂, but from your perspective? You simply get to move through the day, walk into each space when it’s ready, and actually experience everything we’ve spent months creating together.

When your ceremony is surrounded by this much natural beauty, the design doesn’t need to compete with it 🤍

We kept the palette almost entirely white and green, letting the surrounding gardens and vineyard become part of the design itself.

The floral arch created a statement at the altar without blocking the landscape, while low, organic arrangements lined the aisle and gave that same lush feeling all the way from the first row to the very entrance.

And with a ceremony this size, scale matters. We wanted the florals to feel substantial enough to hold their own in the space while still keeping the focus exactly where it belonged: on Lauren + Kevin.

The result felt romantic, timeless, and completely at home in Napa Valley. ✨

Sometimes the best design decision isn’t adding more...it’s knowing how to work with what’s already there.

Your wedding budget shouldn’t be split evenly. It should be spent intentionally. 🥂

When we’re building a wedding budget, we’re not trying to give every single detail the same amount of attention (or money). We’re figuring out what matters most to you and making sure your budget reflects it.

For this celebration, that meant creating a reception guests could really experience: statement florals overhead, draping that completely transformed the room, a packed dance floor, playful signage, late-night pizza, glow sticks, sunglasses… all the things that made the night feel like them.

That’s the difference between simply dividing a budget across a checklist and designing around your priorities. Spend where it makes an impact, scale back where it doesn’t, and give yourself permission to go ALL IN on the things you’ll actually remember.

While everyone else is making weekend plans, we’re checking floor plans, placing signage, fluffing linens, cueing vendors, triple-checking timelines, and watching months of planning come to life in real time.

Wedding weekends are long, busy, and usually involve a LOT of steps… but getting to stand back at the end of it all and watch our couples actually experience the day we’ve been planning together for months?

Yeah, we’ll happily keep working on the weekend like usual ✨
