These photos were taken 5 days apart - isn’t it crazy how much growth occurred?

But I think if I didn’t take these pictures, I may have not noticed the miracle of growth. I’ve impatiently been waiting for tulips to bloom 🤦🏼‍♀️

Isn’t that life- hurrying to the next thing, wanting more, done with our current situation. But in reality, we are progressing, little by little each day.

Sometimes we just need to stop, notice, and appreciate the beauty in where we are.

In no time at all, things have transformed and changed! Flowers can teach us so much!

I wanted to write a quick post of gratitude to all of you for supporting my flower farm and my dream ❤️ Thank you spring and summer subscribers! You have been the backbone to my flower farm. I am so grateful to each one of you! And thank you to those who have bought flowers from the stand. It means so much to me! I always hope that my flowers find their way to people that need need to feel some love and happiness, that they aren’t alone with their struggles, and that they are seen. Flowers can do incredible things to change a person’s day. Thank you all! ❤️💐

Check out these beautiful ranunculus I harvested this morning 😍😍😍 just as they are ramping up, we are set to hit 90* today and tomorrow. I’m interested to see what effect this has on this cool weather loving crop. Enjoying the blooms while they last!

I took this picture last night of my non-tunnel tulips. I love looking at how varied each of the leaves are. Nature is constantly amazing if you slow down enough to notice.

I had this thought tonight while making dinner while it was quiet (such a rare occurrence):

Sometimes it is so hard to see the progress being made.

With today being the first day of spring, I was thinking back on winter. Some days it felt like we were never going to see the sun again. January (or February) was never going to end. It started to feel like March snow would continue on until the end of time.

And then we wake up this morning, on the first day of spring, and we made it though. Little by little, winter ended and spring came closer and closer.

When planting these snapdragon seeds, which are smaller than a grain of sand, I thought to myself that these are never going to flower. How does this speck have it in it’s power to defy all odds and produce multiple blooms?

But here we are, only a month and a half later and these snapdragons are flourishing! Hope is here! Blooms are on the horizon.

So if you are feeling like a snapdragon seed or the first day of winter thinking that brighter days are not in sight, just look at Mother Nature. She shows the way.
