So excited to give back to this nonprofit that has changed my family’s life! Come get some flowers from the flower stand 💐❤️

The flowers in the flower field have been cranking out beautiful blooms for months and the plants are slowing down. That’s why I’ve decided that this week is the last week for flower stand for the 2026 season.

Last year during my last week of flower stand, I decided to donate 50% of all sales to a local non-profit called CASA. It was such a success and I’m so grateful for everyone who came to the stand! Together we were able to donate $580!

CASA helps train volunteers to advocate for children in foster care within the legal system. This is something very near and dear to my heart since I have seen first hand how important CASA is to children in foster care. We have adopted all three of our children from foster care, and the volunteer advocates that CASA provided made a huge impact on the trajectory of my children’s lives. CASA’s goal is to get to know the children in foster care, know their needs, and advocate those needs to the judge over the case. If there isn’t a CASA, then there isn’t anyone in the court room with a focus singularly on the wellbeing of the child.

This year my goal is to be able to donate $700 to CASA. So, mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 7 and Saturday, October 10 to stop by the flower stand and help kids in foster care in our own community. Each day, the flower stand will open at 8am and go until sold out. I will be preparing lots of flower bunches to be able to restock as needed. Each flower bunch will be $25. I will also be making up fresh pumpkins with dried flowers (that I grew this season) and they will also be for sale at the stand both days. These will last you all season long and are a great centerpiece!

Cash and Venmo are accepted at the flower stand. If you want to donate money just for CASA, please leave me a note in the notebook in the stand or in the note section of Venmo, so I can be sure that 100% of the donation is given directly to CASA.

Tonight was one of those pinch me moments. I have bought eucalyptus for YEARS. But tonight was my first harvest of eucalyptus THAT I GREW! Isn’t that so cool?! I think it’s similar to finally nailing homemade rolls. Or the perfect chocolate chip cookie.

I’ve been saving this harvest for my summer subscribers ❤️

And yes, it smells heavenly!

August was hot and smoky. But despite that, the blooms were incredible!

The dahlias were full of beauty, I loved the variety of zinnias, and a new favorite was ageratum!
