Popping by to say hi, hi! 🌸
I realized recently that I haven’t really said hi or shared the heart behind Bloom Room in quite some time.
So if you’re new here … I’m Katie. Florist, owner, creative director, and the person usually leaving a permanent trail of flower petals behind her everywhere she goes, with moss somehow always stuck under my fingernails.
Bloom Room was built from a love for beauty, emotion, and the kinds of details people remember years later. I’ve always been drawn to things that feel soft, intentional, romantic, and lived in. Never overly perfect, just meaningful.
Flowers became the medium for that somewhere along the way.
What started as a creative outlet slowly turned into this beautiful little world that now gets to be part of people’s most important moments. And honestly, even after all these weddings, it still feels deeply personal to me every single time.
Outside of Bloom Room, I’m a wife and mama to twin four-year-olds, so my life usually looks like balancing design meetings, flower market mornings, wedding weekends, and tiny humans asking for snacks while I’m trying to answer emails. Some days are luxury installs and candlelit receptions, and some days are late nights in the studio surrounded by buckets of blooms, half-finished color palettes, and a to-do list that somehow keeps growing.
I think that’s part of the inspiration behind Bloom Room too — creating beauty in a way that still feels human.
I never wanted this brand to feel transactional or overly polished. I wanted it to feel warm. Thoughtful. Editorial but emotional. Elevated without losing heart. The kind of experience where couples feel genuinely cared for and fully seen throughout the process.
The truth is, I care deeply about what we create. About the atmosphere. The movement in the flowers. The color story. The feeling when someone walks into the room for the first time and everything suddenly feels real.
That feeling will never get old to me.
So whether you’re a past bride, a future one, another creative, or someone who simply loves beautiful things … I’m so glad you’re here.
Xx,
Katie
