What is Old Harmony actually about?

To us, it’s a mix of things that don’t always seem to go together, but somehow work perfectly here. It’s history meets mountain bikes. It’s a quiet place to unplug in the Backhouse, but it’s also a place to sweat and build something with your hands.

At the end of the day, it’s just a 13-acre slice of the Catoctin foothills where we hope people can find whatever it is they’re looking for—whether that’s a fast ride or a quiet afternoon watching a double rainbow over the ridge.

It was a long, quiet winter here. We couldn’t be more thrilled that the mountain is finally green again, and the buzz of the farm is back in full swing.

We’ve been so busy on the farm the last few years, we realized we haven’t really told the full story of what Old Harmony is about or what we’ve been building. We’re grateful to have these 13 acres to look after, and we want to do a better job of bringing you along for the ride - starting now.

From the quiet mornings by the creek to the energy of a dig day, there’s so much to love about springtime at Old Harmony. Thanks for being part of our journey.
