We want to say a special thank you to the Myakka City Fire Department.
Last night lightning struck a tree on the property directly behind the farm and started a fire. The firefighters were there within minutes and contained and put out the fire.
Fortunately there was no damage other than the tree it struck and the surrounding area. All animals and people were safe and sound.
Thank you so much for your help! We appreciate you!

Nezuko is 2 weeks old today! Starting the morning with baby kisses! Sorry for the quality but the sun wasn't exactly cooperating.

We've finally decided on a name for our newest herd member. It's Nezuko Kamado! For those of you who are wondering we are Demon Slayer fans, as well as other anime and Manga.
She wasn't too cooperative with this last video. Apparently, she is ready for her close up, Mr. DeMille.

Baby is one week old today. She's going out with mom and trying to figure out the rolling situation.

Here it is! The reveal everyone is waiting for! We are still waiting on the name so we can feel out the new personality.

Our newest herd member has finally arrived! Baby's actual birthday is 6/7/2026, but we waited a few days for vet checks and so mom and baby could bond before announcing. Mom and baby are doing excellent!
And just to drag out the suspense...we'll have the gender reveal tomorrow!

This is Belle's last measurement before baby! He or she is due around June 12th. Belle gained a lot since last month, 2 more inches putting her at 94 inches around. We can't wait to meet the new herd member!

We are now closed for the summer! Thank you to everyone who made 2026 so wonderful. We will be keeping everyone updated on how Belle is doing and how her pregnancy is going. We're all on countdown.
Special thanks to all our volunteers, to Jay Heater for getting the word out in the East County Observer, to all our visitors who helped promote us over the winter season, to all our visitors who gave contributions through our website because they could not be here in person.
And especially thank you to all the guests who have been so uplifting and positive in giving us the emotional support we've needed during these tough times. Thank you for spreading love and peace.
