Happy Thanksgiving! There are so many things I have to be grateful for and I wanted to be sure to say thank you to my clients! Another tradition of cutting the cake goes all the way back to Ancient Rome, but in modern times, the ceremony of cutting the cake has layers of symbolism! Beginning with how the couple works together, holding the knife together symbolizes how they will support one another and work through trials together as a team. One thing that is so special about a wedding is the traditions. Like the special dances, the cutting of the cake and the throwing of the bouquet. They all signify moving forward, a new beginning and a rite of passage. They also give us a chance to look back at where all these traditions began and why!

From where I sit the weather has been so cold!! At one point in the last couple weeks, it was -20! Looking at this pictures of a warm spring wedding makes me so excited for warmer weather! My favorite season is summer, I love that the days are so long and you can walk out the door without an additional 20 layers lol what is your favorite season?
