Jennifer and I were having a conversation about how Wade’s eyes had changed colors since he was Ophelia’s age. I thought it would be interesting to really focus on the color of all of our eyes. Maybe in another year we’ll try again to see if there has been any more changes.

Leading up to their wedding day, Erwin and Megan faced many of the same struggles that couples all over the country have had to contend with this year. The greatest struggle by far was just the uncertainty of it all. Erwin and Megan made it work and, in the process, were able to incorporate so many personal and meaningful additions to their wedding day. From the homebrewed beer and wine to the vintage glassware and china; they transformed their backyard wedding reception into something so much more than a venue ballroom!

The love Erwin and Megan have for one another is greater than I can put into words. Their marriage firmly cements the life they have built together. That includes their son Ethan too. He will be able to look back on his parents wedding day and not only see the love they both have for each other but also for him.

Congratulations you two! There isn't a family more loving and caring then you guys and I am so thankful that I was fortunate enough to be a part of your beautiful wedding day celebration!

Erwin & Megan were married on July 11th at Spencer Park in Illinois with the reception held at their home.
