As some our amazing summer team heads back to school and we continue to grow, we're getting ready for one of our busiest seasons—fall weddings, corporate events, and the return of our Take-Home Meals!
The truth is, our people are what make Southern Skillet special. Great food gets people in the door, but it's our team that keeps clients coming back.

We're looking for people who:
• Are 18 years or older
• Are self-motivated and dependable
• Aren't afraid of hard work or heavy lifting
• Enjoy working with a team and serving others • Take pride in doing things the right way

We have opportunities for event servers, kitchen staff, prep, and weekday positions, and many of our team members cross over into multiple roles depending on the season and their availability.

Whether you're looking for a great weekend side hustle, school-day-friendly hours, or after-school work, we'd love to hear from you.

This month marks 10 years...

Ten years of hard work. Ten years of tears, struggles, lessons learned, grit, and plenty of days when we wondered if this was the one that done us in.

But these 10 years have also brought us incredible experiences and the kind of pride that comes from building something truly special. I joke that one day my memoir will retire us...

What started as literally hustling casseroles in school parking lots has grown into a thriving catering business and a take-home meal service with a loyal customer base that feels so much more like family. It has built a job and a life that we absolutely love.

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing vendor community that supports and encourages one another, for every person who has worked alongside us over the years, and for every customer who has trusted us and invested in our business. 80% of small businesses in the food industry don't make it this far. We are grateful and humbled. We wouldn't be here without you, and we're excited to see what the next 10 years have in store!
