Today, I was reminded why I love what I do.
A couple I worked with years ago reached out to tell me they had discovered a check from their wedding that I never cashed. Four years had passed. They could have simply moved on and kept the money, but instead they tracked me down and insisted on making it right.
What touched me wasn’t the check itself. It was their honesty, kindness, and the fact that they still remembered our time together after all these years.
Sometimes we don’t realize the impact we have on people’s lives. We pour our hearts into our work, hoping to create something meaningful, and then years later a moment like this reminds us that kindness, dedication, and genuine care do leave a lasting impression.
Today, my heart is full of gratitude—not just for their generosity, but for the reminder that human goodness is very much alive.
Thank you to the wonderful people who trust me with some of the most important moments of their lives. It is a privilege I never take for granted. ❤️
