The 11th Annual Oyster Roast & Bloody Mary Festival is this Sunday at The Wicked Tuna. Tickets and merchandise, including t-shirts, are ONLY available at the event, starting at 11am. If you see it advertised otherwise, it's a SCAM! Bring your ID, your shucker/glove, and CASH ... yes, you can use a card, but CASH is faster. AYCE Oysters is $40 due to market price, but we will have $20 Buckets for the first time, as well. MAHALO!

The Oyster Roast & Bloody Mary Festival is celebrating 11 years next Sunday 3/2 at Wicked Tuna. WOW! As cofounder of this crazy event, I never expected it to last this long OR be this much fun...

Years ago, on a lazy Sunday at Yucca - shucking oysters and downing Bloody's on the beach - we thought, "Why Not? Might be fun. Let's do it!." So we did. Looking back, it seems like only yesterday we were rinsing off dirty oysters in the Wacca Wache Marina parking lot, dancing to reggae and punk rock, literally making it up as we went. Since then, we've hosted countless Bloody teams, tons of vendors, an army of dedicated volunteers, a never-ending lineup of local bands, and thousands of fun-loving, oyster-crushing, Bloody-chugging locals like yourselves. All I can say is "THANK YOU!"- everyone, from the bottom of my heart.

That said, we got a late start this year - my bad - and we need help ...

As always, we need more volunteers. If you've done it before, we need ya. If you're new, we'll teach ya. Work a few hours then chill out, enjoy the music and eat oysters on us ... you even get a cool t-shirt!

Likewise, we need Bloody Mary competitors, so if you've you got a good recipe, sign up ASAP. You don't need to bartend or run a bar to enter - last 2 winners have been "amateur" teams.- and you could win $1,000 for basically tailgating It's fun and easy to prep plus Tito's Handmade Vodka donates the vodka. WIN, WIN!

And, yes, we have VENDOR spots available. We don't publish the link so that our returning vendors get first dibs. It doesn't mean we don't like vendors. Far from it. What we detest is SCAMMERS. So ... if it doesn't come from us, it's not legit. Period. If you're not sure, here's the skinny:

Vendors - Beware of SCAMMERS! We get them every year posting on our event. The only way to be a vendor is to email us directly at [email protected], and we will see if we can get you in. We do have some more room for this event!
