I haven't had yellow watermelon this good since 1987! My Grandfather used to grow them and they were so good right out of the garden. But seems like they are watery and mealy when you can find them nowadays. HOWEVER, picked two beauties up at the and let me tell you....outstanding.
Go grab a few and some at the store this weekend

Never say never! 5 years ago this week, catering basically stopped due to covid. When business started trickling back, we had to pivot to individual meals for groups. Not our favorite, but we were grateful. Just finished a 5 week gig and part of the group required individually boxed meals 😆 The least we can do is make it delicious and beautiful: Grilled chicken with pickled red onion & artichoke relish paired with charred broccolini.
