A beautiful Autumn wedding was celebrated for Catrina and Eric at their outdoor ceremony. Guests loved seeing the adorable Flower Girl sweetly tossing flower petals over her shoulder as she walked down the aisle ahead of the stunning bride. The couple presented roses to thank their parents for everything, and a touching reading was presented that detailed the symbolism of the wedding rings. To this darling couple, I send my very best wishes for a lasting and loving marriage.

It was a perfect day for a perfect garden wedding for Karson and Jake. The groom and each groomsman "put their best foot forward" to show their Bears socks as I read my original Chicago Bears Wedding Prayer. After heartfelt vows and the exchange of rings, both mothers joined this amazing couple in a meaningful Unity Candle ceremony. I sincerely thank this teacher and police officer for their hard work during this pandemic and wish them only the very best in a lasting and joyful marriage.

Congratulations to Jenna and Zach whose beautiful September ceremony was filled with laughter as well as a few tears along the way. With the support of both loving families, this new couple now begins their own journey of marriage and family, and I wish them the very best in all things.

It was a perfect day for Rhonda and Vinnie's outdoor wedding which was witnessed and celebrated by his 92 year old grandfather, Geno. Highlights included a prayer from each parent, a lovely string quartet, and even a special memory created when the bride's heel got stuck between the boards of the gazebo at the start of the ceremony. It was a heartfelt and amazing wedding, and I want to wish this beautiful family the very best and a love that is Everlong. Happy Marriage!

Congratulations Ash and Mike! May all of your days be as happy as this, your beautiful wedding day. With Lake Michigan as a backdrop and surrounded by family and friends, you shared your heartfelt vows, exchanged rings and blended beach sand to celebrate this union and become husband and wife. May all your dreams come true, and Ash, good luck on surviving Mike's dancing moves. My best to you both!

Shelby and Erik were happily married in a romantic and intimate elopement ceremony. This COVID 19 nurse decided not to let the virus interfere with their desire to become husband and wife, and nothing could "mask" their excitement. Wishing you both good health, continued happiness, and a long and loving marriage.

Congratulations to Shannon and Scott as they renewed their vows today on their 25th wedding anniversary. How wonderful for me to be able to create and perform the vow renewal ceremony for these dear friends, especially as I fondly remember being a Reader at their wedding. We did everything remotely today because of the pandemic and it all worked out perfectly. Here’s to at least another 25 more years of love and adventure for this sweet couple!

Congratulations to all of my happy couples, beginning in July. Jasmine and Antonio didn't let the sweltering heat spoil their beautiful wedding. Christina and Devon were married in an apple orchard with important family members offering beautiful readings. Sarah and Josh lit a unity candle used by the groom's parents at their wedding. Music played an important role in LeAnne and Dan's wedding at the old courthouse in Crown Point. Rachael and Ryan were joined by Jaxon for a family unity sand ceremony and then everyone enjoyed their delightful love story. Together Courtney and Doug built a beautiful unity cross as Doug's many love songs were incorporated into their romantic ceremony. And Amanda and Brian were joined by son, Greg, as they placed birds onto a lighted blessing tree during their lovely wedding ceremony.

To each of these special couples, I send my very best wishes for long and meaningful married lives spent together in love and filled with adventure. Cheers to all!
