Rivers of Steel: The Pump House The Pump House was the site of the 1892 Battle of Homestead, a defining moment in the nation’s labor history.

Today is is available for lectures, programs, group tours and private events. It is also a trailhead for the Great Allegheny Passage.

Rivers of Steel is excited to announce the Rivers of Steel Festival to be held at the historic Pump House in the Waterfront on Sunday, May 17 and Sunday, September 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival will highlight the region's rich ethnic, cultural, and folk traditions, new and old.

We are looking for vendors, demonstrators, workshop leaders, and food vendors. All participants must have an informational or demonstration element to their booth/program. Deadline to apply is April 15. Space is limited.
