Couldn’t just post once, oopsies! More from the night we teamed up with Samantha Li Bridal | Destination Weddings & Bridal Styling, film shots included this time. The grain and warmth make it feel even more intimate, like you’re actually in the booth with us. Allll the red details, rotary phones, cards on the table, it’s giving full speakeasy fantasy. A classy, intimate garden backyard wedding for E + P 🕊️

In the backyard of E’s childhood home, surrounded by loved ones from all over and greenery I’m absolutely not over, these two had the sweetest setup. Their vision for the day was colorful, whimsical, garden party, intimate, and every bit of it came through. So candid, so organic, SOOO E+P coded.

But the story doesn’t start there. A few years ago, these two met at a bar called Shenanigans, where he walked up to her and told her she was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen. She shooed him away, not impressed. Fast-forward: here they are, happily married. PERIOD.

And just like that, garden weddings like this one prove just how elevated backyard celebrations can be 👏🏻

Instagram might need to start capping how many carousels one photographer can post from a single wedding because I don’t think I have it in me to stop. 🥲

From the details to the in-between moments, this day holds some of my favorite images I’ve ever captured. It’s weddings like this that remind me why I do what I do! To create imagery you can actually feel while letting my creativity run wild. Elevated, intentional, and somehow still so intimate, it’s the kind of love story you only think exists in the movies.

Planners, if you’re looking for someone who obsesses over the little details just as much as the big moments, this is exactly the kind of work I want to keep creating.

I’m not sure if it was the views of Oceanside, the way these effortlessly posed, or the way these two completely adored one another, but geez, I am never getting over this day. Up-close details + a bird’s-eye view. 🕊️

These two understood the assignment. Classic, chic, clean… and the kind of design that doesn’t have to scream to make a statement. I’m still thinking about those sculptural lampshades floating over the tables, paired with the calla lilies and all the beautiful greenery throughout the venue. It was simple, elevated, and so, so good.

Oceanside truly worked its magic on this one. 🪄🤍

There’s no one recipe for “making it” in this industry

I used to think I had to shoot like the amazing photographers I looked up to and run my business exactly like everyone else. But somewhere along the way, I learned that your process can look different.

Being different doesn’t make you any less of a photographer or mean you’re behind or doing it wrong. Everyone is on their own path, starting at different times, and at different points in life. How you present yourself on socials, through your brand, and trusting your artistry and your why is what truly matters!

The initial vision of this engagement shoot was: a wooden boat, very timeless, very “The Notebook.” But then we got… sexy, sporty, fresh, fun. And there’s way more where this came from; just wait for the Jaguar convertible shots… y’all aren’t ready. 👀🤭

Red-y or not, Club X, here we come ❤️‍🔥✨

Teamed up with the ridiculously talented Samantha Li Bridal | Destination Weddings & Bridal Styling on an editorial that leaned into just how striking, intentional, and elevated an intimate wedding day can feel. Indeed it was. Underground speakeasy energy, moody lighting, and a retro red palette that matched everyone’s energy.

Every detail was intentional: the styling, the signature cocktails, the guest looks (and guys... EVERYONE showed up and showed OUT). It all came together to prove “intimate” doesn’t have to mean small in feeling; it can feel immersive, eclectic, and fashion-forward as hell.

Also, BIG announcement: this was featured in the newest release of Chicago Style Weddings, speaking on the importance of planners and making wedding days feel special. We’re SO lucky to be part of this, and it couldn’t have been more fitting!

This one’s edgy meets luxury in the best way, and Club X might’ve been the perfect venue.

And just like that… PJ + Nate, the newlyweds 🤍

Days before this wedding, we were watching air quality numbers instead of the weather forecast, as the wildfire smoke settled over Chicago. Then wedding day rolled around with clear skies, giving us a bright, sunny day that could not have been more perfect!

For starters, let’s yap about this color palette though.... OBSESSED with the blue and green. Loved that these two got ready in places they felt most comfortable: PJ at her parents’ with her bridesmaids in the most gorgeous dresses, Nate at his friend’s (now sister-in-law’s) house. FYI, I’m hiring them to design my home next! Dream home decor goals ✨

The overall vibe: timeless summer elegance with a fresh twist. Classic, intentional, garden-inspired luxury with subtle European influences (my fav iykyk.) Every detail had a reason, down to the custom matchbox favors made by PJ’s dad and embroidered sashes for all the bridesmaids!! Adorbs.

Two people who clearly adore each other, celebrating with people who adore them even more. 🥹
