🌵🐴 Two nights of rodeo excitement are coming your way! 🐴🌵

Head to the Mulberry Fairgrounds for the Junior Rodeo hosted by Outlaw J Rodeos on September 5th & 6th starting at 7:00 pm. 🤠

Pre-entries open the Monday before each show and close Thursday. The link will be posted on the Outlaw J Rodeos page!

Round up the family, cheer on the young cowboys & cowgirls, and soak up all the action in the arena. 🐂✨

ATTN: Pageant and Talent!!!!

We are aware that some of those trying to pay their entry fees yesterday had cashapp return their funds to them. We are currently trying to figure out why that is happening. We have your entries (and attempts to pay) so for now, just hold tight. As soon as we get this sorted out we will let you know or reach out if we need to collect payment a different way! We sincerely apologize for the confusion!

This was the best turn out we’ve ever had for a clean up day! (The pictures don’t do justice to how many people were here!!!) The work was done as one big functioning team! And it was done quick!!!

We are so incredibly grateful to all of the youth, parents, teachers, and everyone else that came out this morning and just said “how do I help”!

From work in the barn to the many people who brought out lawn equipment, THANK YOU!

We can’t wait to kickoff the 2025 Crawford County Fair!

📢REMINDER: FAIR CLEAN-UP DAY IS TOMORROW! 📢
We’re getting everything ready for a great week at the Crawford County Fair — and we need your help! All livestock exhibitors are required to attend.

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, August 23 at the Crawford County Fairgrounds for a morning of teamwork and prep.

8:00–11:00 AM – Poultry Blood Testing
9:00 AM – Grounds Clean-Up Begins

Bring your brooms, shelves, and gear — and don’t forget your drinks and snacks. Let’s work together to make this year’s fair the best yet!

Join us next Tuesday, August 26 at 7:00 PM for our Crawford County Fair Board Meeting! We’ll be meeting in the Home Economics Building at the fairgrounds — all are welcome to attend and get involved as we gear up for fair season! 🐮🎪

Crawford County Fair cleanup is Saturday August 23rd!

Helpful tips:
*Most people get there around 7 or 8 am, because it’s HOT!

*cleanup is mandatory for all exhibitors! There will be a mandatory meeting at 10 am im the show ring for exhibitors!

*bring equipment such as wheebarrows, shovels, rakes, etc… Jr Fairboard has some but not enough for everyone!

*bring mowers, weedeaters, other lawn equipment if you are able, please! We need help with the lawn!

*LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS - check your entries this day with Heather! This is your last opportunity to fix any errors. No errors will be fixed after this day and could result in inability to show!

*poultry testing is this day, bring your birds unless you have made arrangements with the Crawford County 4-H Youth Development Extension Office!

🤠🌟 CALLING ALL LITTLE COWBOYS! 🌟🤠

Get ready to kick up some dust at the Crawford County Fair Cowboy Showdown, happening Friday, September 12 with check in starting at 6:30 pm in the Stage Area at Kirksey Park in Mulberry!

This fun-filled showdown is open to cowboys ages 2–9, with each participant getting 60 seconds on stage to show off their best stick horse riding, roping, dancing, or cowboy swagger. Song options include “Old Town Road,” “The Git Up,” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.”

Winners in each age division will receive a custom belt buckle, and every participant gets a cowboy-themed goodie bag!

Think you’ve got the skills to build it better? Show off your craftsmanship in this year’s Agricultural Mechanics Competition! From trailers and livestock panels to cookers, fire pits, feeders, and even custom metal decor — there's a division for every kind of project. Enter solo or with a team and bring your best welds, blueprints, and builds. This contest is about more than what you build — it’s about how you build it, explain it, and present it.
