To the anonymous people who sent us this letter — we would GREATLY APPRECIATE if you would come forward and speak to us like human beings, instead of sending a passive aggressive, almost threatening letter.
We have been trying to please everybody including the township, the neighbors, and most importantly, our customers .. to make things safer and more accessible. We received various complaints about our guests parking on the side of 309, making it difficult to see when turning out of Bow Creek.. including people calling the police on us, so we decided to clear weeds of OUR property and make a few more parking spaces for our employees. We’ve even gone as far to hire an EPA specialist to evaluate the land to see what can be done as far as planting, paving, renovating, etc.
As far as your suggestion in using other business parking lots, we cannot allow guests or our employees to walk down the highway, especially during rush hour or late at night after our closing time.
In the end, we’ve thought over every scenario in which we can make additional safer parking, and we figured extending our own property would be the best option. How it currently looks is temporary until the land is officially evaluated .
If you are interested in making an offer to purchase the property, please come forward and let us know! Until then, it’s our property and we have to do what’s best for our customers & our employees. If you’d like to discuss this further, please reach out on a personal level.
