🎣 The rivers just got quieter, and the trout are loving it.

With most guides out chasing deer this week, there’s less pressure on the White River and the rainbows are biting. Cooler mornings, warm afternoons, about as good as fall fishing gets.

Wade all day, then come home to the Lodge. Clean your catch at our fish cleaning station, warm up by the fireplace or a fire pit, and soak tired legs in the hot tub. No cramped hotel, no long drive, just the river and your own private place to land.

Grandpas Barn is still one of the only wedding venues in the Mountain Home area where your whole wedding party can stay together, right on the property, all weekend. Come see for yourself.

Just a few personal owner thoughts from this weekend’s wedding event…..
When the work, and sweat and tears 🤪 are done, and I walk around the property….seeing the beautiful flowers, freshly mown grass, and beautiful lighting….and hear the laughter of guests, and see the sweet moments between the newly married couple…..the sense of satisfaction is hard to describe. The feeling that we have contributed to a family’s celebration of a bride’s best dreams coming true, is hard to describe.

Seeing the couple stopping as they leave to do their own photo shoot….😄
I saw you leaving, and loved seeing you enjoy our land in the setting sun….
This is about so much more than owning a Lodge and Wedding Barn…
It is a deep heart thing…

Saturday was another stunning spring day here at Lodge Between The Lakes! Our pond provided a picturesque backdrop as Riley and Waylon shared their vows in the valley.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered at Grandpa’s Barn for a delicious banquet catered by the wonderful team at Letty’s Mexican Restaurant (Gassville). The reception was capped off with Paradise Ice Cream (Mountain Home), providing the perfect sweet treat for the celebration.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Maroney! We are truly honored you chose Lodge Between The Lakes and Grandpas Barn for your special day, and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
