Okayyyyy… this one deserved a moment. 🤍

Two fully draped 20x40 tents, side by side.
Both in white and warm beige, complete with chandeliers and perimeter lighting.
These setups are a whole lot of fabric, a whole lot of ladder climbing, pinning, and a whole lot of hours… but seeing them finished makes every bit of it worth it. 😍

On April 22, 2023, we set up our very first tent rental for this family. We had purchased a tent hoping to expand our little yard-card business into event rentals, and when their booking came along, we were still very much figuring things out as we went. I remember exactly where I was when they called. I was so nervous.

In fact, we didn’t even own tables and chairs yet! We sub-rented them from another company just so we could fulfill the order. 😂 We had no reviews, barely any inventory, and were basically flying by the seat of our pants with a tent and a big idea.

That rental ended up helping change the entire direction of our business.

Now, more than three years later, we had the honor of working with the same family again, this time for their daughter’s wedding. 🥹🤍

There’s something pretty special about being invited back by the people who supported you when you were brand new and still finding your footing.

This time around, we brought a little more with us. 😉 I don’t have pictures of the whole setup but was able to snap a few of what we put together tonight. A beautiful 20x40 tent with full draping, chandelier, wisteria and perimeter lighting, plus a cozy little teepee corner we set up for a tiny guest. 🧩

To this family, thank you for trusting us then, and thank you for trusting us again now. You were part of the beginning of Twin Lakes Party Rentals, and we appreciate you more than you probably realize. 🤍

From one tent and a whole lot of “we’ll figure it out”… look how far we’ve come. 🥹

The sun was peeking through the trees just right, the river was still, and this little setup turned into the dreamiest riverside escape.
