Our favorite part of what we do here is being part of your special moments, celebrations, and every day life. So when Holly Aiken called and wanted to spend an afternoon with her daughter Dalyss, Cindi came up with a wonderful idea! She found and purchased some journals that could be painted and customized. Holly painted Dalyss’ and Dalyss painted Holly’s. You see Dalyss was leaving to join the United States Navy to serve our country. So, for the first 3 weeks, they’ll have no contact with each other. This way they can fill the journal with their thoughts, write letters and still feel connected. These are the stories that touch our hearts and fuel our passion at Sunshine + Sawdust

We talked, we laughed, we shared scripture and had some good fellowship this morning at our Praise and Paint. Thank you to the ladies that came. I’m sorry I talked your ears off, LOL! We had such a good time. I forgot to get pictures before they left, but I did take a picture of mine to share with you and several photos of other things that we do at the studio. We would love to have you come and join us soon.
