A note from your planner: don’t be afraid of color.

The most memorable weddings aren’t necessarily the ones with the most color, but the ones that know exactly where to use it. A striped bar, a wash of pink linen, butter yellow details, a tiny matchbook, or one wildly beautiful floral moment can completely change the way a room feels.

And for 2026, color is only getting more confident. Vogue is calling out a return to saturated, joyful palettes, pattern and a little more whimsy, while three of the biggest shades we’re watching are rich pink, juicy red and classic green.

The secret is never making everything match. Layer the tones, mix the textures, let a few details whisper and give one or two moments permission to absolutely steal the room.

Because beauty takes time, the little things matter, and every colorful room deserves a showstopper.

Sometimes the first look isn’t with the person you’re marrying.
Sometimes it’s with the girls who have loved you through every version of yourself.

The ones who knew you before the ring, before the dress, before the wedding plans. The ones who have heard every story, celebrated every milestone, dried the tears, kept the secrets, and somehow made it all more fun along the way.
There’s something so special about that moment when your best friends see you as a bride for the first time. The squeals, the tears, the laughter, the way everyone looks at you like they can’t quite believe the day is finally here.

It’s only a few minutes in a very big day, but somehow it becomes one of those little moments you remember forever.
Because before you walk down the aisle to your person, you get to turn around and see all the people who helped you get there. 🤍

You see a beautiful glass reception space. I see the sun setting at 6:47. 😂

Where is that light going to hit during dinner? How warm will this room get with a few hundred people inside? Is there UV protection on the glass? Can the AC keep up? Are the flowers going to love that sunlight or absolutely hate me for it? And when do we sneak you away for those perfect golden hour photos?

These are the details running through my head while I’m walking through a wedding day.

Because planning isn’t just about making everything look beautiful. It’s knowing how the room is going to feel at every hour of the day. The temperature, the light, the flowers, the photography, the comfort of your guests and how all of those little things change as the sun moves.

The sunset might only last a few minutes, but we’ve been thinking about it for months. 🧡

There is so much more to wedding planning than what’s inside of the frame

It is knowing when the wind needs a little help, when the dress needs to be adjusted, when the photographer needs another set of hands and when your bride simply needs someone beside her who is already paying attention

I am constantly watching the full picture while also noticing the smallest details

The placement of the train, the way the veil is falling, what is being carried, what needs to be moved and whether every person around my bride has exactly what they need to create something beautiful

I love my brides, and I never want them to feel like they have to manage a single thing on a day that should feel completely theirs

So yes, sometimes wedding planning looks like running across a golf course with an armful of bags and holding a dress in the wind

Because the smallest details often become part of the photographs they will treasure for the rest of their lives 🤍

Seeing every flower, every candle, and every little detail come together is so much fun, but watching them experience it is always the best part. 🤍

It really does take a village. 🤍

While everyone sees the walk down the aisle, we see the dozens of people making it happen behind the scenes.

The dress is steamed. The timeline is running. Florals are arriving. Veils are being pinned. Boutonnieres are handed out. Music is queued. Every tiny detail is falling into place.

Our job is to make sure you only have to focus on one thing: soaking in every second!

Because the best weddings don’t happen by accident. They happen because an entire team is working together to make the day feel effortless.
