Mark your calendars and plan to join us on August 9, at Irish Hills Golf Club, for the 2nd annual Mount Vernon Firefighters and Paramedics Union golf fundraiser!

Teams of four will compete in an 18 hole scramble, followed by a catered lunch.

Junior Golf Camp: Week Two 🏌️

Our next group of golf campers did not mind the rain! Coach Billy was prepared and had a putting day with time outside and inside the clubhouse. ⛳️

Day Five: Tournament Day!!! ⛳️

Golfers put together everything they learned this week for a fun tournament! The weather turned out absolutely beautiful for a fun time, complete with pizza party and gifts for the golfers.

We are very thankful for the caddies that took their time to help with club selecting, adjusting shots and carrying clubs!

Day Four of Junior Golf Camp: On the Course ⛳️

We started off the day with Pirate's Gold, a fun game to help us with "honesty." Coach Bill and Coach Billy walked us through what it's like to play a hole on the course and all of the etiquette and rules. They wrote letters of gratitude for their caddies and learned how to fill out a scorecard.

Last day of camp tomorrow and TOURNAMENT TIME!

Day Three: Putting ⛳️

Golfers worked on their precision, speed, accuracy and distance through putting drills and games and learned how to play out when on the actual course.

A water balloon toss helped us learn these skills and kept us cool in the summer heat!

Day Two of Junior Golf Camp ⛳️

Learning how to make adjustments to speed, angle and height of golf swing based on where the ball went. Players also worked one-on-one with Coach Bill, Coach Doc or Coach Billy with their full swing.
