A pastoral exhortation: Today’s Air Quality Index was 109, placing it in the “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups” category. While many people may experience little to no difficulty, those who are elderly or who live with heart and lung conditions can be more vulnerable. As those entrusted with the care of God’s people, let us be mindful of these things when planning outdoor worship services. Faith and wisdom are never at odds; they work hand in hand.

Over the past several weeks, I have been working on the first official training course for ACTS (Apostolic Christians Together Serving, Inc.), entitled Back to the Basics of Christianity.

Interestingly, the course began as a sermon but quickly evolved into something much larger. What I initially expected to be a relatively short presentation has grown into a comprehensive discipleship curriculum focused on foundational Christian principles, spiritual growth, and practical application of biblical teachings.

As I continue developing the material, I have been reminded that some of the most important aspects of Christianity are often the most fundamental: love, prayer, discipleship, service, and faithfully living out God’s Word in our daily lives.

I am excited to see this project nearing completion and look forward to recording and releasing the training in the near future. Investing in people and helping believers strengthen their foundations in Christ remains one of the most important responsibilities of ministry.

I look forward to sharing more as the project progresses.
