Those who know me know how big of a moment this is. As someone who did the typical migration from PR to the BX in the late 80s, I’ve always had an affinity and connection to the cultural connection that is Hip Hop. From its earliest beginnings of Black and Puerto Rican kids trying to survive the Bronx burning, to seeing what they created on a global stage. From the DJs, to the BBoy/BGirls, to the MCs, to the Graffiti Artists.. their passion and pursuit kept this all alive long enough to be vindicated.
From scratching vinyl floors to scratching vinyl records.. BBoy and DJ 4 Life!! Time to pass it down to my kids 😉
